Rudy Yovich is in his fifth year as Director of Athletic Media Services at IPFW. Yovich is responsible for the overall operation of the Athletic Media Services Department for IPFW's 16 Division I programs. He is the primary contact for men's basketball, men's/women's soccer, baseball, and IPFW's nationally recognized men's volleyball program.

Prior to arriving at IPFW, Yovich was the Sports Information Director at Christian Brothers University (Memphis, Tenn.) At Christian Brothers, he was responsible for promoting the University's 13 athletic programs, including the 2002 NCAA Division II National Champion Lady Buccaneers Soccer Team. That team that included current IPFW head women's soccer coach, and NCAA record holder, Margaret Saurin. Yovich hosted a number of Gulf South Conference post season events and two NCAA regional championship matches. While at Christian Brothers, Yovich also promoted women's soccer star Missy Gregg to the National Division II Honda "Woman of the Year" Award.

Yovich was also the Sales and Marketing Director for both the Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League, the NASCAR sanctioned Lake Erie Speedway, and was a former television sportscaster at WSEE-TV (CBS).

A 1988 graduate of Edinboro (PA) University, he was a member of the Fighting Scots Men's Tennis Team, and recently obtained an MBA in Sport Management.

Yovich is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and serves on the organization's Radio/TV Liaison Committee. He is also a member of the United States Basketball Writers Association and the National College Baseball Writers Association.

Rudy, and his wife Timera, have two children; Nicholas (17) and Lauren (14) and reside in Fort Wayne.
