2007 Season
Herrold had 14 appearances making 8 starts in 2007. He picked the win against UT-Martin going 6 innings with 4 strikeouts. Against Norte Dame, Herrold took a no-hitter into the 5th inning, while only giving up 2 earned runs and 3 hits in the loss.

2006 Season
Returned to the mound after injury wiped out his 2005 season. Herrold made 11 appearances in 2006, and was 1-2. In 17.0 innings of work he fanned 13 batters. Opponents hit a team-low .274. Herrold threw five and a third innings of two hit ball, striking out seven, in a 7-0 shutout of MAC opponent Bowling Green on 4/18. Combined with Matt Hagedorn for the SO. It was his longest outing of the year, and his only start. Deadly at the plate, Herrold was 0-1 with an RBI vs. Grace College on 4/28.

2005 Season
Herrold's 2005 season was lost due to injury.

High School
The right hander was named All-Conference while at Caston High as well as honorable mention All-State. As a senior he was selected All-Logan land.
