Humphries was a three year varsity letterwinner while at Homestead. He was a member of the sectional championship team in 2003. Academically, Humphries received an Academic Honors Diploma.

Born December 23, 1986. Humphries is the son of Bill and Debbie Humphries and is an only child. He plans on majoring in business management while at IPFW.
