Fort Wayne, IN - The IPFW men's golf team wrapped up day one of the IPFW Fall Classic in 5th place in the field of nine teams.

The Mastodons have a 559 going into round three. Detroit is holding the top spot with a 545.

There is currently a three-way tie for first between Mark Sommerfeld (Detroit), Thomas Greene (Loyola-Chicago) and Ross Beal (Youngstown State) with 133, nine under par.

Thomas Greene of Loyola-Chicago set a new course competitive record after shooting a 63 in his second round.

Tyler Haire and Nathan Hoff lead IPFW both are tied for 13th with a 139.

The final round of the IPFW Fall Classic will be a shotgun start at 9:00 AM on Tuesday at the Deer Track Golf Course.
