Collins graduated from Lexington High in 2006 and played under head coach Rob Schaub for the Minutemen.

Born August 17, 1987. Collins is the son of Gregg and Linda Collins and has two siblings, Josh and Jamie. Collings plans on majoring in business while at IPFW.
