2007 Season:
Goncalves played in 73 games for New Haven in the 2007 season. He averaged 10.17 assists per game. He was also used as an outside hitter on occasions, averaging 1.56 kills per game. On the defensive side, he averaged 1.19 digs and 0.84 blocks a game. Had 34 service aces and was third on the team in points with 193.0

2006 Season:
Played in 94 of 98 games ... Team's primary setter logged 1,141 assists (12.14 assists per game) ... Ranked fifth in the EIVA in assists per game overall and was eighth in asissts in EIVA matches only ... Had 26 service aces (0.28 per game), 72 kills (0.77 per game), and 90 digs (0.96 per game) ... Also logged 63 blocks, the fourth-highest total on the team ... 20 of those blocks were solo ... Team hit .332 overall with Goncalves as the setter ... Had 70 assists in a four-game match with Endicott to open the season.

High School:
Member of two-time state championship teams at Shelton High School under head coach Bonnie Fineman ... Shelton captured 2004 and 2005 Connecticut championships with undefeated 23-0 records each season ... Won three Southern Connecticut Conference (SCC) championships ... MVP of the senior all-star game ... All-New England and All-Conference selection.
