Fort Wayne, IN - After two games, the Saint Francis (PA) Red Flash trailed IPFW 0-2, but the Mastodons couldn't close the deal as the Red Flash won the next three games, topping IPFW 3-2 on Friday night at the Hilliard Gates Sports Center.

IPFW took the opening two games by the scores 30-22 and 31-19, before falling 30-28, 30-26, and 16-14.

The Flash's outside hitting combo of Nick Rivett and Jordan Varee paced the team with 26 and 22 kills, respectively.

SFU outblocked the 'Dons 13.5 to 8.0.

IPFW featured five double-digit scorers with senior opposite Jason Yhost 21 at team high.

Senior outside hitter C.J. Macias added 20 kills.

With the loss, IPFW falls to 12-13, while Saint Francis improves to the same mark.

The 'Dons will close out the 2008 regular season on Saturday night, hosting National No. 1 Penn State at 7:00 p.m.
