Fort Wayne, IN - Like a fine wine, former IPFW men's volleyball All-America and Mastodon Hall-of-famer Lloy Ball continues to get better with time.

Ball and his teammates on Russia's Dinamo-Tattransgaz KAZAN captured the 2007-08 European Men's League Title earlier this month in Poland.

Dinamo-Tattransgaz KAZAN topped Italian squad Copra PIACENZA in a thrilling five set match, 19-25, 26-24, 18-25, 25-17, and 15-10.

It's the first European title for the 8-year old club from KAZAN.

This is the first season that Ball has played for Dinamo-Tattransgaz KAZAN.  He is expected to return to the team next season.
