Another of Coach Saurin's recruits with athleticism, Melanie was a four-sport athlete at Notre Dame College High School in Welland, Ontario, Canada.

Along with excelling at Soccer, she was a starter on the girl's basketball team that reached the Welland Tribune Basketball Tournament finals in 2005 and won the tournament in 2006.

Besides soccer and basketball, Melanie also participated in volleyball and track & field.

Esposito was a 2007 honors graduate from NDCHS.

She will be called upon to provide depth at midfielder for the Mastodons.
