Myhre has had to get her playing experience in some unconventional ways. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Family Partnership Charter School in Anchorage, Alaska, but there were no sports programs at FPCS.

She played GK for Service High School her freshman year. Named State Champion for longest kick in 2004.

Played her sophomore year at South Anchorage High School. Repeated as State Champion for longest kick.

Did not play high school soccer in '06 or '07, but was invited to participate in the Junior/Senior All-Star Games both years.

Has played for the Alaska Rush 89 squad for the past nine years. Her team has won the championship seven of those nine years.

Myhre also holds an E-Class teaching license.
