Prep: Staschuk atttended Sands Secondary School in Delta, BC, Canada posting an impressive prep career. Her achievements include earning the Top Pitcher Award at the Canadian Nationals in 2003. In '04 she was part of the team that won the Provincial Championship. In 2005 she earned a Gold Medal at the Canada Summer Games, and was a member of the Canadian Cup Championship team. In '06 she was named to the reserve list of the Canadian Junior National Team.

Personal: Rachel is the daughter of Randy and Lynn Staschuk. She has one brother, Adam. Staschuk plans on majoring in Biology while at IPFW.
