Elmhurst, IL - IPFW freshman Amy Recht has been named the Summit League Player of the Week for the third time this season, most among any tennis player in the conference. Recht went undefeated in singles and doubles play during the week, securing an undefeated Summit League season in singles play. She won every set in all eight of her league matches this season, and has won her last 16 matches with her last loss coming on February 16. In doubles, she has won nine straight matches, and 13 of her last 14, finishing the year 7-1 in the league in pairs. Recht also won the award on April 8 and January 29. Overall, a Mastodon netter has won the award in eight of the 14 weeks the award was given out. Also winning a Player of the Week honor for IPFW was Hanna Hager (April 1), Sachi Janek (March 4), Stacy Lish (February 20 and 26) and Ashley Coulson (February 5). The `Dons next face off against Southern Utah University on April 25 in the first round of the Summit League Championships, hosted by IPFW at the Dr. Rudy and Rhonda Kachmann Tennis Center.
