West Lafayette, IN-The IPFW Women's Track and Field team competed at the second annual Dave Rankin Invitational hosted by Purdue Univeristy over the weekend.  The meet was non-team scoring.

IPFW was led by the trio of Crystina Martinez, Crystal Martinez, and Annina Gruber who finished 1-2-3 in the 3,000m steeplechase. Crystina, an NCAA Regional qualifier in the 3,000m steeplechase, was IPFW's lone individual champion with a time of 10:53.34. Crystal's time of 11:13.69 moves her to second, only to Crystina, on The Summit League's top ten performace list in the event.  Gruber rounded out the top three, crossing the finish line at 11:47.15.

IPFW will return to action on April 25, spending the weekend in Hillsdale, MI competing at the Hillsdale "Gina" Relays.
