2006 Season Roehm made an instant impact in her first season as a Mastodon. Roehm finished the season nationally ranked in aces (0.35/game, 273rd) and hitting percentage (.279, 264th). She averaged 2.33 kills/game (4th on the team) and led the `Dons in hitting percentage and service aces. She had 291 kills in her freshman campaign and saw action in all 36 matches. She added 44 service aces, 17 block solos and 90 block assists. Roehm was named to the All-Tournament Team at the IPFW Invitational, Newcomer of the Week three times, Tournament MVP of the Independent Championships and Honorable Mention All-Independent Team. Prep Roehm was a member of the State Runner-up Parkway High team. She was named to the 1st Team MAC All-Conference and 1st Team All-Ohio and was District 8 Player of the Year. She is a McDonald's Scholar Athlete. She holds three school records at Parkway: kills, blocks and hitting percentage. Academically, she is a member of the National Honor Society and was in the Top 10 of her class. She took home three academic awards, business, history and science. Personal Born August 12, 1988. Roehm plans on majoring in organizational leadership and supervision (OLS) at IPFW. |
