2006 Season

Schwartz made huge improvements in her first season at IPFW. She saw action in 31 matches, averaging 2.13 digs/game. Schwartz added 13 service aces and 18 assists. Schwartz had a personal best of 13 digs against North Dakota State in 2006. Known for her quickness, she made a smooth transition to the collegiate scene.

Prep

Schwartz was a two sport athlete at Adams Central. In volleyball she was a member of the State finalist team in 2004 and 2006 and was named to the 1st Team All-State in 2006. Schwartz was also named to the Indiana All-Star team in `06. She set a new school record in assists in 2006. In the ACAC she was named to the All-Conference team in `05 and `06, All-Conference Honorable Mention in `04 and Academic All-Conference in `06. She also received the Jet Award. In basketball, Schwartz set the school steals record and received the HEART award in `04 and `06. In the ACAC she was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention team in `05 and All-Conference team in `04 and `06 and Academic All-Conference in `06. Schwartz was also on the Honor Roll at Adams Central.

Personal

Born May 25, 1987. Daughter of Matt and Shelly Schwartz. She has one sister, Jeana and two brothers, Jarod and Josh. Schwartz plans on majoring in nursing at IPFW.
