High School

Hardesty was an All-Sectional selection and a regional qualifier, as well as being named All-State Honorable Mention during her prep career. She was also a team captain for the Barons. She excelled in the classroom, earning honor roll status at DeKalb.

Personal

Val, the daughter of Joe and Judy Hardesty, is earning her B.A. in Communication. She has a brother, Dustin, and a sister, Dana.
